A native of Rome, Georgia, Chris Ewing is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Following his commission, he served seven years as an Army Officer, culminating in his role as an Aviation Company Commander. Prior to joining OneAscent, Chris held senior leadership positions at several of the nation’s largest financial institutions, including GE Capital, Bank of America, Truist, and Regions Bank. This breadth of experience has shaped Chris into a results-driven, strategic leader known for building high-performing teams, driving technological innovation, and executing organizational transformation.

As Managing Director of Operations and Innovation at OneAscent, Chris leads our efforts to enhance performance, elevate our client experience, and expand the firm’s product and service capabilities. His leadership supports OneAscent’s efforts to grow, serve, and steward with values aligned, Kingdom-driven excellence.

Outside of work, Chris and his wife of 32 years, Sherri, have two sons, and two daughters-in-law. They enjoy traveling, fitness, remodeling homes, and spending time outdoors with family and friends, including their two labrador retrievers, Baxter and Colt. Chris and Sherri are active members of Church of the Highlands and value time spent together investing in faith, family, and community.
