Sam is a graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. Before joining OneAscent, he gained valuable experience at a nationally recognized wealth management practice and interned in the commercial real estate industry. At OneAscent, Sam serves as a Planning and Client Services Associate, where he will be assisting with financial planning, research, investment operations, and account management.

Driven by a deep sense of purpose, Sam is passionate about living missionally and serving others. In 2024, he spent several weeks volunteering with a ministry along the Camino de Santiago in Spain—an experience that deepened his commitment to faith and service. He draws inspiration from Acts 20:24: “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

He attends the Auburn Community Church campus in Birmingham where he is encouraged by the focus on discipleship in being a follower of Jesus. Outside of work, Sam enjoys hiking, traveling, playing pickleball, and watching Auburn sports.
